The MIT Hyperloop II team is comprised of a group of multi-disciplinary researchers with backgrounds in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering. We are designing and building a prototype pod to compete in the annual Hyperloop Pod Competition held by SpaceX.

WHAT IS HYPERLOOP?

First described by Elon Musk in a 2013 white paper, the Hyperloop is a proposed form of transportation that involves a train gliding at 760 mph through a vacuum tube.
